Thursday, November 30th at 6pm, the launch of Estonian Music Week (EMW) will take place at Tartu College. From May 24-29, 2018, EMW will take place in Toronto. A week long series of musical events will introduce diverse and high quality Estonian music and striking Estonian musicians from Estonia and North America mixed with the best performers of the Canadian music scene.
Wednesday, November 29th at 7pm at Tartu College, the first session of the VEMU Estonian Language Book Club will be taking place.
Piret Noorhani will be leading the discussion on two books
focused on the topic of childhood memories during the Soviet period:
Leikude by Erni Kask and Vee peal (On the Water) by Olavi Ruitlane.
