Ansambel Triskele - keepers of ancient folk songs - gives a view into Estonian music history. Thanks to a specially commissioned arrangement by Ardo Ran Varres, Ansambel Triskele will perform together with the HPO. Ansambel Triskele is rarely accompanied by orchestra, which makes this premiere even more special.
Kara-lis Coverdale, known for her electronic soundscapes shows her talent as composer and pianist. First performing solo piano, then Triskele and members of the HPO will perform a brand new commission.*
Kirke Karja first performs with her Trio followed by a Canadian premiere of Karja’s Piano Concerto. The piece will be performed by Karja herself.
*Commissioned by Alan Teder in memory of Velda and Ingvar Kattemaa
