Ülikool – 381 aastat jagatud tarkust
University – sharing knowledge for 381 years
Ülikooli pildistamine on alati pisut aukartustäratav.
Tartu is a university city and I am always proud that I am a graduate. Taking photos of the university should always be done with reverence. With this photo, I wanted to convey the university's importance while showing respect. The quiet evening and the passing car's back lights add intrigue.

Kirjutis – tulevik ja minevik
Writing – the future and the past
This photo brings me particular pride, as I was fortunate to capture three unique perspectives – the young and the old and the contradiction between them in words. The youthful skateboarder feels proud of the text inscribed on the brick wall, while the old lady wrinkles her face in despair over the fate of the world. Different people and different views must co-exist every day.

Sport – neljal rattal kõrgustesse
Sport – four wheels seeking height
Valisin näituse jaoks foto Eestile mitteomasest spordialast – motokrossist.
I selected a sports photo for the exhibit, moto-cross, which is not native to Estonia. I have shot this sport on several occasions, not because it brings out emotions, but rather because I enjoy the challenge of using fast shutter speeds to capture the action of the ATVs.

Päikeseloojang – hiliskevadine jalutuskäik loojuvasse päikesesse
Sunset – a late springtime stroll to the sunset
This is one of my oldest photos, of which I remain proud even today. It was taken with my photography friend, Kadri's Olympus camera, which had a long telephoto. This allowed the subjects to be closer. The setting sun was like the cherry on top of this idyllic scene.

Peegeldus – kevadine suurvesi
Reflection – springtime waters
In the spring of 2010 Tartu experienced a spring thaw that caused flooding. The river Emajõgi overflowed its banks. The cellars of those who lived in the Supilinn (e. Soup town) district were waterlogged. Areas even further from the river were affected. On Raatuse Street, beside the club Illusion, a yellow home provided a pleasing reflection from the waters that had collected in the low-lying areas.
