Screening of Documentary “Rodeo” in Collaboration with the Hot Docs Festival

Sunday, April 29 at 6:15pm, Raimo Jõerand and Kiur Aarma’s new Estonian documentary Rodeo (2018) will be screened at the Scotiabank Theatre, 259 Richmond St. W.).

VEMU is happy to be the media partner to our Bloor St. Culture Corridor partner organization Hot Docs. About Rodeo: In 1992, Estonia held its first free elections since the Second World War, and saw 32-year-old upstart Mart Laar become Europe’s youngest prime minister. Laar himself tells the story, along with other key actors in his political theatre, of just how wild the eastern bloc had to get in order to reach the west.
