Concert by the Estonian National Opera Boys’ Choir
Tuesday, June 21st at 7:30 pm at Koerner Hall in Toronto, the Estonian National Opera Boys’ Choir will be performing a concert in honor of maestro Roman Toi’s 100th birthday. Conducted by Hirvo Surva.

About the choir:
Gold medalists at choral festivals throughout Europe and recently names Estonia’s 2015 Choir of the Year, the world-renowned Estonian National Opera Boys Choir is celebrating its 45th season with a North American tour. In addition to their regular duties participating in performances of the Estonian National Opera, the Boys Choir performs up to 40 independent concerts a year and undertakes international concert tours.
The Choir has frequently participated in illustrious festivals and international projects, most recently at the 1st International Boys & Mens Choral Festival in Hradec, Kralove and Prague (2008), a concert tour in Greece (2010), Festival Europa Cantat Junio (2011), Estonian National Opera International Music Day Opera Gala in Helsinki and Tallinn (2011) and MustoneneFest 2016 Tallinn- Tel Aviv.
The concert program will feature works by Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis, Urmas Sisask, contemporary Estonian composers as well as classical masterworks.
