Book Presentation by Tiit Lääne and Enn Hallik

On Wednesday, November 11th at 7 pm at Tartu College Tiit Lääne and Enn Hallik will be presenting two life story books: “Viimase laevaga vabadusse” and “Odaviskaja Hans Moks.”

In Estonian. No admission fee. A small donation would be appreciated.

“Viimase laevaga vabadusse”

At the end of October, the fourth book in the series “Meritsi maailma läinud eestlaste lood,” titled “Viimase laevaga vabadusse” was published. The book brings readers 16 new stories of Estonians who have lived or are still living abroad. This book is being released 70 years after the end of the great war in Europe, which impacted us all. These stories are similar to one another as they reflect the tragedies that many Estonians experienced. A number of Estonians can truthfully say: “We left the homeland on the last boat…”

Tiit Lääne and Enn Hallik are the authors and the publisher of this series is the Paduvere Talumuuseumi Selts.
