Rakvere Theatre “APART. Estonians at Home and Abroad”
Thursday, September 20 at 2:30pm, Rakvere Theatre will perform APART. Estonians at Home and Abroad at Tartu College. The play is set in the archives of Tartu College where a journalist and plitician get trapped. They both have something to hide from each other. Strange stories begin to unravel in the archives all together making up the story of the Estonian diaspora.

In 2016, the Estonian Studies Centre/Museum of Estonians Abroad commissioned the Rakvere Theatre to produce a show tha would become our joint gift to the Republic of Estonia which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. The play debuted in Rakvere, Estonia last spring on March 9, 2018, then travelled across the country.
