From VEMU Archives: “Post Independence Role for väliseestlased”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic is it not possible to organise events at Tartu College. Instead, VEMU opens up its archives for you to watch different lectures and workshops at home.

The lecture by Scott Diel, a colourful and charismatic writer and journalist with a long history with Estonia, talks about the post independence role for Estonians abroad. Scott manages the second-hand English/foreign language bookshop Slothrop in Tallinn and there are rumours that he might actually be Vello Vikerkaar, a person who publishes witty and sharp articles in the Estonian media.
