VEMU Web event – 30th anniversary of the re-independence of Estonia!

August 20th, marks the 30th anniversary of the re-independence of the Republic of Estonia. VEMU will be commemorating this historic day with a ticketed web event ($25) featuring the full program from VEMU’s 9th fundraising evening, including interviews, music and archival recordings.  We will send a direct link of the event page to everyone who has purchased a ticket. For free viewing on the VEMU YouTube channel, we will also be showing an archival recording of Prof. Marju Lauristin’s lecture “The Estonian Political Situation” given at the University of Toronto on November 4, 1989.
