Documentary filmaker Dwight Storring will be giving a lecture about his experience making the documentary “Anna Kaljas: The Untold Story”

From Estonian refugee to the Order of Canada, Anna Kaljas (1912-2010) left her mark on Waterloo Region and the world. Her main concern in life was the welfare of disadvantaged people. She founded five boarding-houses in Kitchener where she cared for several dozen people at a time, while helping them find work and fighting for their rights. (Anna Kaljas – Order of Canada)
