Dr. Vello Soots memorial lecture and opening of the exhibit “Estonians in Siberia”

The first Dr. Vello Soots memorial lecture will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2011, commencing at 3:00 p.m. in the main hall of Tartu College. The lecture “Emigration of Estonians Through the Ages” by Dr. Raimo Raag of the University of Uppsala will be followed by the opening of the exhibit “Estonians in Siberia”. Dr. Anu Korb of Tartu will address the topic of “Estonian Villages in Siberia”. Lectures will be held in Estonian. Exhibition in English.
