TC54- 80 Years since the Great Escape: Dr. V. Soots Memorial Lecture by Dr. Tiina Kirss + DJ night + exhibit opening

Join VEMU for an enlightening evening dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Escape from Estonia in 1944. The program will begin with the annual Dr. Vello Soots Memorial Lecture by Dr. Tiina Kirss titled “Lahkumine kodumaalt: 1944 aasta põgenemislood.” There will also be a new exhibit opening, and a sing-along of familiar Estonian diaspora songs. The lecture and program will be held in Estonian.
